Business Development Representative

NetFort is a leader in network traffic and security monitoring software. We are seeking a number of Business Development Representatives to join our Inside sales team. Based in our headquarters in Galway, Ireland, you will be responsible for the generation of high quality opportunities and working closely with our sales and marketing teams or network of channel partners to close these opportunities.

Reporting directly to our Director of Sales, you will have the opportunity to work with senior executives in prospect accounts across EMEA, achieve monthly quotas and close business. Compensation will include base salary, commission and stock options.

The Role

  • Responsible for driving quality opportunities into the pipeline
  • A disciplined approach to pipeline generation
  • Develop new opportunities and activities in the UK or USA
  • Prospecting at Manager or Director level(IT, Networks, Security)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time corporate sales experience
  • Minimum of 1 year prospecting experience
  • University degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and over-achievement of goals
  • Ability to uncover pain and handle objections
  • Outbound sales experience
    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
    • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
    • Good time management with strong organizational skills
    • Experience of selling Network or Security software a plus
  • Salesforce CRM experience a plus
