Free trial software
There are two free trial versions of LANGuardian: an ISO image, and a pre-configured VMware virtual appliance. Choose a version from the list below, then click Download to register and download the software.
Before you download, please note the following:
- LANGuardian works by analyzing raw network traffic or flow data from a network switch. Typical domestic hubs and routers are unable to provide the necessary data and therefore LANGuardian is unsuitable for use on home networks.
- Unless you are installing LANGuardian in a virtualized environment, it requires dedicated hardware. When you install LANGuardian, any existing operating system and all data will be irrevocably erased.

LANGuardian 8.8.6 ISO image
Download the ISO image to install LANGuardian, and its underlying operating system, onto a dedicated standalone PC or server, or into a virtualised environment other than Hyper-V.
LANGuardian has its own operating system and requires no operating system licenses.
The PC or server must have two network interface cards, a 2 GHz or faster CPU, at least 2 GB RAM, and at least 40 GB disk space for the traffic database.

LANGuardian 8.8.6 VMware appliance
Download the OVA virtual appliance to install LANGuardian into a VMware ESX 4 environment. To install LANGuardian in earlier versions of VMware ESX server, use the ISO image.
Virtual appliance specification: 1 CPU, 800 MB RAM, and 16 GB disk space.
