Core switch documentation

LANGuardian network monitoring software uses deep packet inspection to analyze the traffic flowing through the core switch on your network. LANGuardian acquires data from a monitoring port on the core switch (see the architecture page for details). The steps involved in setting up a monitoring (SPAN) port are different for every core switch. This page contains links to the manufacturers' core switch documentation for commonly used switches:

If your switch is not listed on this page, or you need help configuring a monitoring port to send traffic to LANGuardian, please contact our support team and they will be happy to provide free, no-obligation assistance.
